Laying tefillin and wrapping talit – foundations in the commandments of Judaism
tefillin AndTallit They are among the central commandments in Judaism, which maintain a daily connection between man and the commandments of the Torah and his Jewish identity.
What are tefillin
The tefillin are two leather houses, in which cards on which four passages of the Torah are written:
"Holy be to me all firstborn", "And it shall come to pass that he shall bring you, "Shema Israel" and"And there was a mother who heard".
One is placed on the arm and one on the head, in accordance with the Torah command:
"And you shall bind them to the sign by your hand, and they shall be the caresses between your eyes." (Deuteronomy 6:8).
Meaning of tefillin
The laying of tefillin expresses the acceptance of the yoke of commandments and the remembrance of the exodus from Egypt.
The tefillin assumption of a hand symbolizes the connection of deeds to faith, and the tefillin of a head symbolizes the connection between thought and mind to the work of God.
What is talit
A talit is a four-winged garment on which Titzim are placed, in accordance with the Torah's commandments:
"And they made them a tzitzit on the wings of their garments" (In the desert of Tu, 38).
The Tallit is worn during prayer, mainly in morning prayer, and serves as a constant reminder of the observance of the commandments.
Meaning of the Tallit Cover
The talit symbolizes wrapping up the mitzvot and remembering the mitzva of Torah. The tzitzim are meant to remind a person of his duty to fulfill the commandments and to avoid deviation from the inclination.
How to place tefillin and wrap in tallit
The tallit is worn first, in the greeting, and then the tefillin is placed – first of a hand and then of a head. This order is based on the accepted rule.
The assumption is made during the weekdays and morning prayers, and does not take place on Shabbat and holidays.
Set tallit and tefillin
The tallit and tefillin set concentrates the main precepts of morning prayer in items intended for daily use, while adhering to kashrut, halachic accuracy and production quality.
May the Lord bless you and keep you – a Jewish blessing for generations

The Source of Blessing
The Priestly Blessing appears in the Torah, in the book In the Desert, Chapter VI, verses 26-15.
