About Shabbat Candle Lighting
Shabbat candle lighting is one of the oldest and most beloved mitzvot in Judaism. It is usually performed by the woman of the household before Shabbat begins. Before lighting, the blessing is recited: “Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to kindle the Shabbat light.” After reciting the blessing, many women cover their eyes and offer a personal prayer for their family, including the request, “May I be worthy of raising sons and grandsons who are wise and understanding.” The candles symbolize “peace in the home” and the light and joy of Shabbat.
About the Artist Dorit Klein
Dorit Klein is an Israeli Judaica artist, born in Israel to a longstanding Jerusalem family. Encouraged by her mother, she began painting at a very young age and worked in commercial graphic design for many years, until her love of Jewish art became her main pursuit. Since 2003, she has designed and created “Dorit Judaica” in the studio in the courtyard of her home in Petah Tikva. Her designs are distinguished by vibrant, harmonious colors, precise laser-cut metalwork, and the blending of verses, blessings, and prayers from Jewish sources with motifs such as pomegranates, flowers, hamsas, birds, and Jerusalem landscapes.

Yes. Easy returns within 14 business days of receiving your item, with no cancellation fee. The item must be returned unused, in its original packaging, together with the invoice. The refund is issued to your original payment method within 14 days, less the shipping cost (even if shipping was shown as free), and return shipping is at the customer's expense. Senior citizens, people with disabilities and new immigrants may cancel a transaction within 4 months, as provided by Israeli law.
