The company "Aharoni Import and Marketing" (website operator) is essentially a company for the development, production, and wholesale marketing of 925 sterling silver jewelry, stainless steel jewelry, and fashion jewelry. Our story began in 2005 by two brothers with a passion and love for jewelry and Judaism.
Following this combination, we created a collaboration in the field of producing silver jewelry with Jewish symbols (Judaica jewelry), and marketing them throughout the country and worldwide. My name is Shahar Aharoni (no relation to cooking), and I have been designing, developing, and manufacturing jewelry since 2005.
I am personally responsible for the design and development of most of the 925 sterling silver and steel jewelry on the website, including adapting them for large-scale commercial production.
During my approximately ten years of living in Bangkok, Thailand, I developed our main collection – incorporating stones, crystals, and elements from the worlds of Judaica, faith, and Jewish identity. During this period, I established a local company, managed professional teams, participated in international exhibitions, and accompanied full processes of development, production, and distribution of thousands of designs to various markets.
Over the years, an extensive collection of over 2,000 different designs has been built, which have been marketed and sold in collaboration with businesses and clients worldwide. Additionally, I have developed and produced collections and jewelry for dozens of companies and designers from Israel, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Iceland, and other countries.
My expertise focuses on designing jewelry with cultural and spiritual depth, combined with uncompromising attention to quality, precision, and long-standing practical experience in the world of commercial production.

I want pure silver jewelry! Is there such a thing?
We receive many calls from customers asking: "Is it pure silver?" "Is it solid silver?" So, if you mistakenly thought that the silver jewelry you love to wear, or your precious and beloved kitchenware, are made of pure silver, allow us to correct your mistake.
The familiar silvery metal you wear on your neck, hand, or finger is soft in its natural form, similar to 925 gold jewelry. Therefore, it is somewhat difficult to process it into jewelry or other silver products in this form.
To give it an additional property that it does not naturally possess, which is hardness, it must be mixed with other metals such as copper, zinc, or platinum. Such a mixture is known as an alloy. Typically, about 7.5% of another metal is added.
This is why our silver jewelry and our silver items are not, in fact, pure silver, but 92.5% silver.
In fact, 99.9% silver jewelry, marked as 999, can be obtained, but its production is uncommon and it is less shiny than 925 silver.

Silver is a metallic white element, harder than gold, softer than copper. Represented on the periodic table of elements by the symbol Ag, silver is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity.
Historically, silver has played a prominent role in the production of jewelry and artworks. Sterling silver or 925 silver is a silver alloy with a purity of 92.5%, and 7.5% added metal.
That is, silver jewelry marked 925 actually contains silver at a rate of 92.5% of its weight, and other metals, usually copper, at a rate of 7.5%. The alloy is considered the most prestigious silver alloy, accepted in jewelry production.

How is 925 sterling silver jewelry made?
There are 3 main ways to produce 925 sterling silver jewelry: 1. Castings:The most popular method for commercial production of silver/gold jewelry. First, a wax model is prepared. 2 methods for producing a wax model: – Manually: By an artist specializing in wax production. Usually, they arrive with a drawing/picture of the desired jewelry and an explanation to the artist of how they want the finished jewelry to look (including measurements for each part). The artist prepares the wax.
2. Machine: Usually, they come with a drawing/picture of the jewelry they want to make. It is transferred to a computer artist to prepare a CAD file of the finished jewelry. It is transferred to a 3D printer or a wax lathe to create the finished wax.
Once we have a perfect and smooth wax model in the desired sizes, we transfer it for master production. Each piece of cast jewelry requires a metal master from which a rubber mold can be made for repeated and uniform production of many waxes.
The wax needs to be sent and turned into a metal master. Once the metal master is received, a rubber mold can be made.
Wax is injected into the rubber mold, essentially creating a "tree" of wax from the model(s) to be cast.

After we have a beautifully prepared tree, we place it in an airtight container and fill it with plaster. After the plaster hardens, we put it in an oven and essentially burn the wax inside the plaster. This creates an empty "tree" cavity – but without the wax.
After all the wax has been removed, we pour 925 silver into the plaster cavity, wait for the silver to harden, and then wet it to cool the silver. We break the plaster and remove the tree of 925 silver jewelry.
The next step is cutting the jewelry from the tree. Filing off excess material from the jewelry. Polishing and buffing. Setting stones and plating if necessary.
2.Handmade:A popular method for producing small quantities or unique, one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. The production is literally by hand, typically by sawing and cutting thin sheets of 925 silver. Bending and folding into shape. Soldering parts, and manual stone setting.
3.Stamping:A method suitable for flat/thin and light jewelry. Usually used for producing various earrings. It works by cutting the jewelry into shape. Preparing a "block" with the jewelry's shape, and cutting thin sheets of 925 silver into the desired shape.
